How do I return an item?

Cancellations
As soon as you place your order, we begin the process of fulfillment, and to avoid cost, cancellations must be received before shipment. Cancellations received after shipment will be charged a 15% restocking fee all shipping costs involved in getting the merchandise back to us will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Freight Delivery Returns
Once the shipment arrives at your destination, it is your sole responsibility to inspect all merchandise at the time of delivery. We suggest that the purchaser be present during delivery for this purpose and note discrepancies or damages before the delivery agent leaves.

If you choose to refuse any or all items, the reason for the return or exchange must be noted through the shipping company or carrier.

If refused for general objection or improper measuring (will not fit through the door, down a hallway, up a staircase, etc.) we will refund the total amount less shipping charges each way and a 15% restocking fee. Please note that special order items and special finishes (other than standard) are not returnable for these reasons.

Only the damaged, defective or incorrect pieces can be returned. You will incur additional shipping charges by returning the entire order.

As with the original order, wait time is involved with exchanges or replacements. We do not offer discounts or any other compensation for exchanges, replacements or repairs- regardless of the reason or circumstance.

An RMA is required for returned merchandise or it will be refused by Ironwood Gourmet. Contact our Customer Service to obtain an RMA.
